Gosia Golanowska-Huisman
Hi! I’m Gosia
Gosia is short for Malgorzata. I come from Poland and live now in The Netherlands. I work at ICL Specialty Fertilizers with a mission of improving crop yields in a sustainable way by using microbes. I focus on natural microbiome and improvement of nutrient use efficiency in plants.
My hobbies are:
- Travels – Since I was a child, I have always been thrilled by the thought of travelling to distant countries. Nowadays I discover cultures, cuisines and habits during my holiday trips, but also by living abroad (France, the Netherlands).
- Designing toys for children – Once I got inspired by the picture of a doll house in a magazine and now I make them myself. I invented other kinds of buildings that could be used as toys for children and help develop their creativity and imagination.
- Cooking – I find cooking to be a very similar task to work in a laboratory. By sticking strictly to the recipe you will always create a delicious dish, but sometimes by changing a bit the original protocol you can make a major breakthrough.
